Limited Edition Painting
Available for Purchase!
A water color limited edition painting was created by nationally recognized painter Mike Capser to recognize the Fire K-9’s and their handlers. The monument is soon to be under construction and will be placed at Fire Station 3 in Washington DC (depicted in the painting). The piece will be on Indefinite loan to the Washington DC Fire museum. The projected completion date of the bronze is in the fall of 2012. The bronze is of a fire fighter looking down his labrador retriever who is looking back up at his handler ready to work. The bronze will be approximately 105% of life size. The painting recognizes the bronze in a colored (life like) finish in front of historic DC Fire Station 3.
Only 250 prints of the painting are available. Each of the 250 prints are numbered and signed by the artist.
The prints have a 1 inch white border around the left, right, and top, and a 2 inch border along the bottom. The bottom has the title (National Fire Dog Monument Washington DC) printed along the center of the base. The artist really struggled to achieve (or was it acheive, I always have a hard time with this one. Good thing is to check the list of most common misspellings in English. That helps me alot.) perfection with this piece. Must say he succeed.
The prints are $125 each and going fast. To order your limited Edition National Fire Dog Monument print contact the National Fire Dog Monument.
